At the law firm of Sands Anderson Marks & Miller, whose North Carolina office is in Research Triangle Park, lawyers are just starting their blog. This blog. So far, there are three contributors: Donna Chmura, a North Carolina business lawyer, Oliver Branch, a North Carolina immigration lawyer, and Paul Jacobson, a North Carolina and Virginia local government lawyer and managing shareholder of the office.

Here you will find their thoughts and commentary on legal issues, the work of practicing law, and observations about living the legal life in North Carolina. It might be about a small business transaction, a federal I-9 immigration issue or municipal finance, or about a meal at the new restaurant or even family vacations. Whatever goes on in the life of a North Carolina lawyer, it will be fair game for this blog. Enjoy!

  • A suggestion, if I may: since multiple people will be contributing to this blog, how about setting things up so that it will show who posted a particular post. That will alleviate confusion later on about just who is talking about what.

Other than that, good luck and welcome to the blogsphere!
